Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Vital app and related services provided by Elconex Private Limited (“Vital”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Vital, you agree to these Terms.
Last updated: July 26, 2026
1. Using Vital
Vital provides reminders for birthdays, anniversaries, staying in touch, health routines, and tasks, delivered as notifications and optional phone-call reminders. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Vital.
2. Your Account
- You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
- Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Vital for any unlawful purpose or to send unsolicited or harassing communications to others.
- Add other people’s personal information (such as phone numbers) without a lawful basis or their awareness where required.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems.
- Misuse the phone-call reminder feature in any way that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.
4. Your Content
The reminders and content you create remain yours. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and process that content so we can provide the app’s features to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Reminders Are Not Guaranteed
Vital is a convenience tool. While we work hard to deliver reminders and calls reliably, delivery can depend on factors outside our control — such as your device settings, network connectivity, battery optimization, and third-party services. You should not rely on Vital as the sole method for time-critical or safety-critical reminders.
6. Third-Party Services
Vital relies on third-party services (for example, Google Sign-In, Google Cloud Speech-to-Text, and Firebase Cloud Messaging) to provide certain features. Your use of those features may also be subject to the respective third party’s terms.
7. Termination
You may stop using Vital and delete your account at any time through our Account & Data Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the service or its users.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Vital is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vital and Elconex Private Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any missed reminder, arising from your use of the app.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of Vital after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
